ABOUT THE ARTIST

About…CARLO THE LO

Art has always been a way for me to capture moments, emotion and character in a way that words never could. What started as a personal creative outlet gradually evolved into something people began connecting with and wanting to own.

I have spent the last 12 years working as a professional tattoo artist, creating permanent artwork for clients from around the world. Over the years I have owned tattoo studios in London, Bristol and Puerto Banús in Marbella, while also travelling and working internationally throughout my career.

Tattooing has taught me precision, discipline and the importance of creating artwork that people live with every day. That same mindset carries into my artwork today — every piece is created with intention, detail and strong visual impact.

Alongside tattooing, I am also a DJ, and music culture has played a big role in shaping my creative style. The energy, rhythm and attitude of music and nightlife naturally influence my work, often inspiring the mood, movement and personality within the pieces I create.

My artwork focuses on powerful imagery and strong visual storytelling. Each piece is carefully developed with attention to composition, contrast and detail so that it not only stands out in a space but also carries depth and character.

Every print available on this site originates from an original artwork that has been refined through hours of creative work. These are not mass-produced posters — they are high-quality fine art prints, produced using premium materials and offered in limited quantities to maintain their quality, value and exclusivity.

The aim of my work is to create pieces that people feel something from every time they se e them on their wall.

As my work continues to evolve through tattooing, music and travel, these prints represent moments within that creative journey. Each piece is part of a growing body of work and released in limited quantities, making every print something unique to own.

For those who collect early, these works become part of the beginning of the story.
